Many users uninstall programs incorrectly, resulting in some files, directories, and registry keys being left on the computer. Correctly uninstalling is very easy to do and down below I have explained the procedure.

To begin: Choose the most convenient choice.

1. Click Start, Settings, Control Panel
2. On the Desktop click on My Computer, then click on Control Panel.

Procedure:
1. Double click Add/Remove Programs. Find the unwanted program in the list and hit the Add/Remove... button (If a message appears click yes). Some items may bring up a screen with options. These options may include Repair and Uninstall. Just click the "uninstall" option and your computer will delete all the files and registry keys.

Note:
Sometimes the program may forget a folder. These folders are usually in the Program Files folder. Just goto that from "My Computer, C:, Program Files" and select the unwanted folder. Be sure that this is the right folder by checking inside. If nothing exists continue to delete it.
